I was familiar with Disk Drill but I don't use it. I'm familiar with CCC and I don't use it either. However, I do know they are two different apps with two different purposes. One is used to recover deleted files and one is a backup app. Whether an app is mentioned in Wikipedia has no bearing.

FWIW, if someone is "unfamiliar" with Disk Drill it's unlikely they have used it. :)

Would you use it in preference to Carbon Copy Cloner - which doesn't have a mention on Wikipedia?
