Is there a way to view two PDFs side by side in Files for iPad Pro?

Yes - using native capability, you simply open two instances of Files...
1) Start by opening your Files App - and then navigate to, and open your first PDF.
2) Now, swipe-up from the bottom edge of the screen just enough to reveal the dock (don’t flick, as this will return you to the last used home screen; likewise, don’t swipe-up to the middle of the screen and pause, as this will invoke the task switcher).
3) From the open dock, drag the Files icon to either side of the screen - to open a second Files window in Split Screen mode.
4) In the second Files window, navigate to your second PDF.
You should now be looking at two PDF files - side by side 🙂
