I have a MacBook Air 2017 model, can I upgrade the SSD Drive to physically handle more storage, I am out of space.
Everything is backed up to the cloud already .
Where do I purchase this drive from, can I do it my self?

who may choose to offer third party installation of these 'blade' SSD drives; these
look like a long circuit board, that plugs into the logic board.

Just make sure to keep the original Apple SSD just in case a later macOS upgrade or system firmware update requires the original Apple SSD to be temporarily installed. There have already been a couple of times this has been necessary.
