Hello Andrepug,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I understand that you aren't seeing the option to use FaceTime with Picture in Picture. Are you currently trying to use this feature on an iPad or a Mac?

If you're using an iPad, this feature is supported with iPad Pro, iPad (5th generation and later), iPad Air 2 and later, or iPad mini 4 and later. Here's how to use FaceTime with Picture in Picture on one of those models of iPad:

If you're using a Mac, be sure to follow the steps here:

If this feature still isn't working, could you please provide more details about what's happening? Here are some questions that would be helpful to answer:

  1. Which device are you using? What software version?
  2. Can you use Picture in Picture with apps other than FaceTime?

Cheers!

Hello,

same thing happening to me. It used to work fine in IOS 12. I have ipad pro 11 inch. Upgraded to ios 13 pip only works now on the home page as soon as you open any app. Person on facetime can still see you. But pip for facetime dissapears until you go back to home page. I have tried disabling multitasking and enabling again. Didn’t fix issue. I have reset the device multiple times and nothing. Let me know what can be done as PIP use to work on any app before! Thanks
