Suggestion for new iPod/iPad

I currently have an ipod nano and an ipad mini 4. My ipod nano is broken and I'm looking to replace it with something small i can run/walk with. I do not have an iphone and don't want one. I just want something that can connect to radio and can get all of my ipad info from the cloud like my podcasts and music library. What would be the best product for that? Hoping it would also be able to connect to my wireless bose earphones. My iPad is too big to take walking/running with me.

I only hard wire, will not use WiFi. The device cannot require a dongle, I will not use a dongle, they are the weakest link in transmitting sound. The 1/4 cable from the McIntosh, destroys dongles and damages the plug in. I’ve used my Mac book, it does a decent job but is way to large. im thinking iPad mini, is it available with the old school pin plug in, again, no dongle. Thanks, Mark.

Replace iPhone to iPod for music Hi, I have a iPhone and AirPods, I usually go for walks and runs and carry my phone and AirPods to listen to music. I don't really like carrying my phone as it big, I'm wondering if there are any iPods that I could use to listen to music. I know that you can't use AirPods on a iPod but I can get a bluetooth receiver. I've heard that they have discontinued Apple Music on iPods (such as the iPod classic) is there a way that I could use a iPod and listen to music on Apple Music? Stay Safe

I can't use my home pod mini to my iPhone 14. The mini pod only plays songs from the internet. I want it to play my songs off my phone. In the my home app, it the mini pod doesn't show up as an accessory. How can I make this accessory work with my iPhone? Since I bought it it has been sitting on my book shelf unusable. This isn't like apple.
