No apple TV app on new apple TV

Set up a new Apple TV 4k HDR 64GB this week with Amazon Prime, CBS, BritBox and Acorn apps, but NOWHERE do I find the app with the Apple TV+ logo. I signed up for it on iTunes and my account shows that I'm subscribed, but I can't find the app to run on my new Apple TV.

The start-up screen shows 4 Science Channel shows and a little video about Apple TV. I can watch the new Apple TV+ shows on my iPod and iPhone, but not on our smart TV. I can watch Amazon Prime shows on the smart TV, but not the new Apple shows.

Have spent a couple hours scrolling up and down and left to right, but no Apple TV+ app. What could I possible be missing???

It should be the black TV icon on the very first line of Apps on the Apple Tv display:

What do you see there, if not that?

"Automatically Update" was checked, buy maybe that function doesn't work.

Maybe should be should be, but I have picture of a monitor with green and blue colors in the black area instead of the white Apple TV logo.

If you see something like this:

Then you need to update your Apple TVs software.

Settings->System->Software Update
