Stutter issue (please pay attention to this issue)

Hi Guys

I don't know why Apple doesn't fix stutter issue in iPhone XS/XS Max and even Pro/Pro Max. Scrolling and animation stutter happens in all of new iPhones. It's in whole of UI like opening or closing apps animation or scrolling in lots of apps. it's intermittent issue and happens rarely, but it's very annoying me. I saw lots of videos about iOS updates in YouTube and it's good to know I could see stutter in YouTubers's iPhones too.

for some users, maybe It's hard to see stutter, because it happens rarely. but to those who can not see the stutter, please go to Setting> Privacy> Analytics & Improvement> Analytics Data and then open

a error file that has lot's of text and you can scroll it (like

JetsamEvent). for the first time, scroll the page and you see the

scrolling stutter. remember that this scrolling stutter just happen for

the first time of scrolling which got a little better as scrolled back.

I don't mean stutter just happens in Analytics Data files. It happens whole of UI, but in those file you can easily see this issue on XS/XS Max and Pro/Pro Max. I checked my iPhone 7 and even iPhone 5. they are still smooth.

Well, i have some sad news, but some happy news too!

Just went to the Apple Store, and showed this and other forums related to the Stutter problem on iPhone Xs Max, and the true is that THEY DONT CARE about it, and THEY DONT CHECK THIS THING, people here complain about lots of problem, waiting on a solution from Apple, and the truth is APPLE WILL NEVER FIX ANYTHING in iOS based in this forum

I've recorded some screens of the stutter happening, showed in the Apple Repair Center, they did LOTS of tests, did these tests about 5 times, its really annoying, but i did, and the system didnt noticed ANYTHING wrong, but the problem was there...

They've called some kind os "Specialist" in Apple products, which told me it was my 4G "data" was slow and thats was the cause of my problem. LOL

Then, they called another guy, which was very smart and a bit "nerd", we've tested some apps and he saw that my phone was with this problem, then, fastly he got a new one, and gave me to try....the new one is working perfectly, there's no stutter anymore!

I Would like to encourage you guys, go and solve your problem, this thing here wont help, Apple doesnt fix anything based in these infos here

It’s does not depend on oled,this happens on my XR aswell after updating to iOS 13.2. The phone is brandnew and stutters a lot.If you Check control center management in settings and scroll up and down in the add and remove options tab you’ll experience major stutters.This also happens in battery management,in wallpaper selection,even in the home screen swiping from left to right.My phone sure is not faulty as it is brandew and its storage is empty. iOS was really smooth but now..

p.s. can somebody link the bug report site?

I don’t think it has to do with the refresh rate of the display and the support of 60hz on iOS 13.The stutters are most likely frame drops that happen because of some bug.This with the battery drain on iOS 13 are the most annoying bugs.Hopefully it will get fixed. Btw Where can I report this bug?

you are right. this issue is widespread. It doesn't happen only in Mail or Instagram. It happens in whole UI. if you pay more attention to stutter you would see that in WhatsApp, App Store, YouTube, Twitter and... I mean stutter issue related to iOS. you can see it in animations or scrolling.

Lol, last month I stopped using Chrome since it was stuttering (notable big lags). So I switched to Safari.

Btw guys, is your phone sometimes overheating? Twice in last month my phone was burning like ****. The problem was right in Safari. While I was browsing it suddenly started burning. All I had to do was refresh the app. I am glad I know solution but the main question is - why did that happen? I don't have more than 3 tabs open. It was burning just a few seconds after I took my phone to the hand and started searching.

Yes, it is exactly that issue: most of the time the colors are “washed out”. It is not caused by any setting but I belive is something corupted in the driver (may be some config files) and started with ios13. Unfortunately there is no easy way to move back to ios 12 (apple toke care of that by making it unsigned)

It started to have a really slow reaction to swiping or scrolling, but I restarted it and it worked fine and smooth again. I hope it doesn’t happen anymore on the future, cause I really like how smooth this device is.

I have significant frame loss and stuttering. Its like microfreezes that are very annoying. Notice that iPhone 7 does not have the issue and is very smooth. Additionally want to say that this is my second pro max, the first one I was managed to change to the current one because of the stutter. Exchange to the new one didn’t help.

Same here. I’ve noticed that most of the affected devices with A12 chip. So I can say for sure that if will not get a fix with iOS 14, it’s likely a hardware issue, which affected some parties of devices

It has gotten to the point where i would always back up my pictures & videos to prevent the storage having an impact, although it all comes down memory. I would recommend using this app called, "CPU-x Dasher z Battery life" in which under the memory tab, there is an option to clear ram/ memory which seems to help a significant number of users, give it a shot.

seems iPhone 12 Pro suffering with stutter issue. someone wrote this on MacRumors:

I feel like we get things like this with every new phone, but... I’m noticing frequent stutters/hitches when closing

apps. It seems happen when opening and closing an app that hadn’t been in the background, but not always. I’ve had the phone for 2 days now, so I’d hope that any slow performance due to background indexing or whatever would be done by now, but maybe not.
