Control JBL 5.1 Soundbar using Apple TV Remote

I Just get my new apple tv and i would like to know if there is anyway to control My JBL 5.1 Soundbar using the Apple TV remote? (Right now it's controlling just the VOL and +/- and the TV power to ON & OFF, i would like to add the option to switch off and on the sound bar using the apple tv remote) .

The Connections are:

Apple TV connected to the TV using HDMI Cable.

Soundbar connected to the TV using optical Cable.

SIMPLINK is Switched ON (LG TV).
