Where is Continuity? In System Preferences? I have current Catalina installed.

I am trying to extend my screen to my iPad Pro. Both are in common Bluetooth and WiFi networks. How does this happen?

Hello,

Are you referring to Sidecar? You can access Sidecar on your Macintosh in System Preferences > Sidecar. Sidecar requires a Macintosh manufactured after 2015. If you do not see Sidecar then you do not have a supported Mac model.

Sidecar requires a 2016 MacBook Pro or later. My apologies if I was not clear in my earlier post.

My MacBook Pro is mid-2015 2.8ghz Quad-i7. And yet now good enough?
