Is it possible to restore a backup from an iphone 8 to an iphone SE??

What if I lost my iphone 8 but I have an old Iphone SE just in case. Is it possible to restore my iphone 8 backup to the old SE??

This would be possible if the storage size is the same and if the SE has an iOS the same or higher than that of the iPhone 8.
