Watch OS 6.1 Timer Freezing

I use the timer function daily for timing workout sets. Since updating to 6 the timer app has been hanging and they only way to get it working again is to reboot the watch which takes forever and disrupts my workouts. Closing the application and reopening does not resolve it. I have to do a total reboot.

I found out yesterday that If I avoid using the repeat function of a particular timer the app doesn't crash but that creates extra steps do hit on the watch before each set.

I hope this gets fixed in the next update.

I also experienced this issue with the timer app last week. I had to restart the watch and figured that it was a one off occurrence. Just ran into the same issue for a second time tonight. The timer app became unresponsive and I had to restart the watch to clear the issue. I use the timer daily at work so I hope that this gets sorted with the next update. I have been having the same problem since updating my V2 watch. As long as I am hitting repeat, the timer app does not freeze, but as soon as I stop the timer, it freezes on th e time period and will not clear or restart. It has become very frustrating to have to restart the watch on an almost a daily basis. I use to hope that Apple would eventually add a gym timer, so Tabata like intervals could easily be programmed, but now I just hope that a fix is released to keep the simple timer app from crashing.
