For some reason, my emails will not send on my mac now. they have been working fine but i turned my laptop on tried to send and email and a notification about my outgoing mail server has popped up. i have fiddled around with the setting and tried to add things however nothing has worked. Any help would be appreciated

What account are you using? gmail / iCloud? etc?
try removing the account off the machine, restarting it and then log back in. that should revert all the settings back to default.
I’m using iCloud... I’m not sure how to remove the account as I have tried
Go system preferences. Apple ID. Then untick mail. Restart your computer and turn it back on.
if that doesn’t work. Sign out of your Apple ID. Restart and sign back in again.
Try removing the account from Mail/Preferences/Accounts. Then quit and reopen Mail. Add the account back.
