Access to tags in a shared Dropbox folder

I am sharing a (Dropbox) folder with another Dropbox user. Works fine. We both have access to the same files, can change them, save new files, etc. I want the other user to be able to tag files for me. I have created by now some 2,500 tags. It seems like the other user can only see the tags that are used on any file stored in the shared folder. He can however NOT use any of my other tags. I tried a workaround, by adding all my 2,500 tags to one file, and save that file in the shared folder. However, creating and handling a file with 2,500 tags makes everything extremely sluggish. Just clicking that file makes the Finder freeze for several minutes. Is there any solution, or better workaround, to allow my co-worker to use all my existing tags?
