Malwarebytes won't install on Macbook Air

Trying to run Malwarebytes for mac but it keeps giving me this Error message. I got the Malwarebytes link from reading all the replies on scanning and cleaning your system.

Error: MB01

This installation requires macOS El Capitan (10.11), Sierra (10.12), High Sierra (10.13), Mojave (10.14) or Catalina (10.15).

Im not sure what I need to do or what I need to install now.

Thank you so much for the help. I think I found out what is wrong. My MacBook is a OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.5

From what the error message is saying when I'm trying to download Malwarebytes, I need to have an El Capiton or Sierra or High Sierra or Mojave or Catilina. So I guess my computer won't be able to download a fix. I'm going to try customer service for Malwarebytes just to see what I can do.

Hey there stacylynj,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand you’re having issues installing Malwarebytes on your Mac running macOS Catalina. I’ll be happy to help.

See if you an install this in safe mode or a new user account to isolate and possibly resolve this issue:

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac

How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac

If that still doesn’t work, delete the file and download it once more from the Malwarebytes website, then try and install again:

Malwarebytes Cybersecurity for Windows, Mac, Android & iOS

If the issue continues, you'll want to work with Malwarebytes support on this:

Cheers.
