Apple TV iTunes 2 factor authentication code not working

Iin my iTunes, trying to watch my purchased movies. I enter my Apple ID and password, it then ask for the authentication code, I put that in, hit submit and then it brings me back to asking for my Apple ID and password again.

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities. It's great to have you here. If I understand your post correctly, you're having trouble signing in on your Apple TV.


Do you know what model Apple TV you have? Identify your Apple TV model is a helpful resource you can use to verify what Apple TV model you have.


If you have a 2nd or 3rd generation Apple TV, you may need to enter in a six digit verification code at the end of your password. Check out the following article under the section "What if I use two-factor authentication on a device running older software?" that can help you complete that process.
