Apple Watch acting strange

my Apple Watch was working perfectly till yesterday but now its acting weird. it continues to scroll up or down very slowly or zooms in/out very slowly even without any contact. I tried restarting it and hard rebooting it (holding down the crown and side button for 10 secs) but to no avail.

it display's the time and other info just fine. is connected to my phone and tracking activity no problem. just the screen zooms in/out or scrolls up/down very slowly when I get a notification or open an app.

wondering if anyone can help me out.
