Exporting Message Threads (Messages App in Mac)

Hi. I was wondering if there was a way to export message threads from the messages app on the computer (not messages on an iPhone). I have several very long message threads that I’d like to save, such that simply going File > Print does not do the trick. Are there any third-party apps that do this, or any solutions that anyone has?
