Frequent requests for Apple password
Since upgrading my iPhone and iPad to the latest operating system version, every day, I am asked to provide my password on both devices. Why is this happening. It’s very annoying!

Many people have posted the same problem. It may be a bug. A few people have fixed the problem by signing out of iCloud and back in.
If you want to, you can send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
