Using the Apple Watch in water

Is it safe to swim laps wearing your Apple Watch? I have the series 4?

It is perfectly fine to use your Apple watch underwater for pool swimming and freshwater swimming. The Apple Watch can be submerged up to 50m (300 ft.) underwater without being damaged. There are even designated workouts in the workout app for pool swimming.

However, I would not recommend wearing your Apple Watch in the shower, for the chemicals used in shampoos and body wash can damage your Watch.

Hope this helped! :D
