New IPad unable to mirror to Panasonic TV

I have just bought a new iPad which has Apple TV I cannot mirror to my Panasonic VIERA TV to watch the Apple TV. My partners old Android tablet can. I have tried to find the Network in WiFi settings various ways without success it just will not pick up the TV. When I try to join the network it has Network name which on the Android is. Panasonic VIERA in Security it comes up WPA2/WPA3 on the Android the Security is WPA2-PSK which also appears on the TV. It also asks for a password and I have been inputting exactly what appears on the TV VIERA_.......... but it cannot find the net work. Any help suggestions would be great. If I have to pay for an app that seems a bit sill6 when the cheap ancient android works perfectly well without one.
