Photos
I want to transfer photos from IPhoneXR(new this month) to my Macbook Pro.
Also video clips--need transfering also.
I can connect the Iphone to the computer--then nothing happens---not sure what to do?

Where do you want them to wind up?
If you want them in your Photos library, launch the Photos application and import them.
If you want them in Finder folders, launch Image Capture and import them.
(You can also use Image Capture to import into the Photos library.)
