Lost Microsoft Office access

After completing the most recent update to my MAC,I lost access to my Microsoft applications (word/excel/ppt/outlook). It provides an option of now paying for a subscription. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this???

If you were using Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 or earlier, that is not compatible with Catalina.

Options with Catalina are to either subscribe to Office 365 or make a one-time purchase of Office 2019 -- see: https://products.office.com/en-us/buy/compare-microsoft-office-products-for-mac?ms.officeurl=mac-compare-redir

Other options would be to use the free Libre Office https://www.libreoffice.org/

or Apple's Pages and Numbers.
