Hi All,
I formatted a thumb drive EXfat for 2 large video files but a person on PC says the drive appears empty.
Any help on how they can see the files or how I can format the next thumb drive?

ExFAT should work, unless his PC is a dinosaur.
I would give FAT 32 a shot. It will work on a wider range of gear.
FAT 32 has a limit of 4 gig so large files may be off the list.
Try a test video to establish what format works and what doesn't.
Also see if the PC can format the thumb drive to ExFAT and start again.

Have the PC person right click on the flash drive and look at the properties. See if used space and free space makes sense. Could be the copy never took place. This will also tell if pc thinks the device is formatted as ExFAT.
Yes they were MP4.

2 vids about 10 gig each in size.
I guess i'll have them return the thumb and we'll test something else.
It really is a pain getting large files to people. Google Drive often times out or just doesn't work when they are downloading.
I have no trouble uploading however.
Is there another alternative to a thumb that isn't too expensive?

I guess if they found a person with a Mac then they could transfer but it’s a PC office.

This just ran through my brain:
Even the the format is EXFAT, was the codec used, one that a PC can read such as MP4.
Eg. ProRes would not work for a Joe Bloggs PC user.

Alright got another thumb and formatted EXFAT and left it as Master Boot and not GUID which I did before.
Don't know if that makes a difference.

There is definitely something wrong as the supplies image shows 196 MB total space and 2KB free.
GUID is what we used for Mac system boot drives.

The second time around did the trick. Apparently I didn't choose EXFAT initially but thought I had.
Doing a right click screen shot was good advice also.
