Slow Home Wi-Fi

Does anyone have any special way to fixing slow Wi-Fi speed on their iPhone?

Recently, my IPhone's internet speed has dropped drastically low when I'm using my home Wi-Fi. I'm talking dial-up speed slow where Internet speed tests would show data rates of 0.07 - 0.2 Mbps. My laptop's internet speed works fine and my phone's speed is great anywhere else like at work or at a Starbucks.

I tried the following techniques to fix the slowness:

-turned off and on my phone

-restarted my router and modem

-disabled Wi-Fi networking in Settings menu

-soft restarted my phone

-reset my network settings in Settings menu

-ignored and manually rejoined the network

-tried Google's DNS of 8.8.8.8

-factory reset my phone

Unfortunately my router can only be configured to stay on 2.4GHz so I can't set it 5GHz. This might be the cause right here but I just want to see if there are any alternative solutions because my phone was just working fine when all of a sudden the speed just nosedived.
