Cannot update?

After switching AppStore country (Japanese) to update an app, the app itself was apparently ‘removed from the app store’ by the developers. However I am 100% positive that the app had not been removed since I know other users that are just fine. Anyone know how to fix it? I can’t use the app without updating it.

It is what it is. If the system says the developer removed the app, then the most likely scenario is that the developer removed the app.


Perhaps your friends updated the app before the developer removed it. Perhaps the developer was alerted to a bad bug in the current iteration and removed it until it is repaired.
