Grayed out documents in iPad pages

Grayed out documents in iPad pages

As these documents cannot be opened, how can they be deleted? They do not respond to holding down the icon, selecting or exporting.

Hi orinda67,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today. It sounds like you have some Pages documents that are greyed out and you want to delete them.

Do you have a Pages update available?

Are you seeing these documents inside the Pages app or in the Files app? Are they grayed out in both apps? Use the Files app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Are you using iCloud Drive? Do you see these documents on iCloud.com from a computer's browser?

Hi MichaelB2019,

Pages is updated. These files only appear on the Pages app on my iPad. They do not appear in iCloud drive or in files or file manager on my Android phone. The grayed out files were created by either saving screenshots, which auto saves as a .png, or a saved gmail attachment.
