My computer (MacBook Pro 15" Late 2013) has been randomly shutting down lately. It doesn't seem to matter whether I'm working, watching a show, or it's just sitting there. The error is always:

panic(cpu 4 caller 0xffffff80125cccdf): "thread_invoke: preemption_level -1, possible cause: unlocking an unlocked mutex or spinlock"@/BuildRoot/Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/xnu/xnu-4903.271.2/osfmk/kern/sched_prim.c:2420

and this is always consistent too:

I've updated all my drivers and programs as best i can, but this is still happening. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to try to fix this? I always send my error reports to Apple, but of course they never do anything.

Here's the full latest error report:

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.14

Hello dangerboydesign and welcome to Apple Support Communities.

I see you are having an issue with random shutdowns of a MacBook Pro. Start with the tips here:

If your Mac restarted because of a problem - Apple Support

One of the sections in that article notes external devices as a possible cause. As the error reports you're seeing refer to the Wacom driver, you might consider disconnecting the device and deleting the driver and then testing as an isolation step.

Cheers.
