I received a email saying that purchased a 8 ball pool game for 25.09. Also I could cancel by following this Link which I did but it was asking for my Social Security number so I’m wondering if this is true can you help me

I received a email from supposedly Apple saying I have a had purchased a stack card game for $25.09 I don’t believe I purchased this when I followed the link it asked for my Social Security number

If the only indication of the charges is from an email or text, be aware that it may be a phishing attempt to get you to log in to a site that appears to be Apple and divulge your password or credit card information. See: Avoid phishing emails, fake 'virus' alerts, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support

and Identify legitimate emails from the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support
