Apple Car Play response delay in my car

Hi,

I have a 2019 MINI Countryman. The apple car play working very well by my old IPhone 8. I just bought a new one, the 11 PRO MAX, but it doesn't work very well on my car:

  1. response very slow, sometime just stop work for a while
  2. make my car system restart


Is anyone can help me on this issue?

Hello zibimi,


Thanks for the update and additional details. Let's make sure that you're using the latest version (13.2.2) of software on your iPhone. You can check this by going to Settings > General > About > Software Version. If you're not using the latest version, go ahead and update your iPhone and test to see if the issue remains.


Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch



If the issue remains, let's forget your vehicle in the CarPlay settings and then reconnect. To forget the vehicle, go to Settings > General > CarPlay > Select your vehicle > Forget This Car. If the issue persists after trying these steps, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support.

The whole CarPlay system, like when I use Apple Map to nav with listening the Apple Music/Broadcast, the nav will stop 1 second, and work 2 mins, and then stop 1 mins. Also the music will stop 1 or 2 second, then go back. it is very often.



  1. Can you provide more details about your car system restarting?

The CarPlay interface totally black, and I cannot quit the CarPlay , then half mins, the system re-start


  1. Which version of software are you using on your iPhone?

IPhone 11 pro max, 256G. MWH72LL/A
