Draft Mode Printing
Is there any way to print in DRAFT mode? This is ridiculous and wastes a ton of ink. Apple you need to get out of the Printer Driver business.

Return the printer to the vendor for a refund.
AirPrint gathers the available settings from the printer.
If there’s no draft quality listed under the paper type and quality in the detailed printer settings, check with Canon.
That’s where the available settings are retrieved by AirPrint; directly from the printer.

Apple isn’t in the printer driver business.
Hasn’t been for a while, too.
Not since the days of the Apple ImageWriter and the Apple LaserWriter printers.
Check with whoever provided the printer and its driver; with the vendor of your printer.
If you’d like us to look at this, which printer vendor, and which specific model?
I just purchased a Canon TX6220. Prints via AirPrint. Canon doesn't provide drivers for most of their printers any more. Called Canon tech support and was told to contact Apple because they no longer supply drivers. Was told the print quality is part of AirPrint.
Apparently there is disagreement on that from other forums. Canon says it's an AirPrint issue, Apple says it's a Canon issue. Bottom line is that the Draft Mode is greyed out and not available. Friend with new HP has the same issue, so my money says it's an Apple thing.
