My phone updated to 13.2.2 on Nov. 12th. Immediately McAfee sent an error saying my phone was "jailbroken". I use a 7 plus iphone. It warned of security problems which could arise. What do I do?

Why do I get a "Your device is jailbroken" from McAfee after updating to 13.2.2 and how do I fix it?

Your response was correct but as someone inexperienced with apple products I have to rely on other measures to gain

some assurance of security. I switched to a mac and an iphone after many years of working in a windows world. The simplest

tasks have become near impossible. I once again see a windows world ahead and I won't look back!

A VPN such as they provide is nothing but a glorified proxy server.

As for security, due to the nature of iOS, it's impossible for them to actually protect you from anything, just as it's impossible for malware to infect an iPhone that hasn't been jailbroken.

McAfee made their fortune selling Fear Uncertainty and Doubt and they continue to prey on Apple customers who don't know any better.
