macOS Catalina : Error occurred during authentication of iMessage

I am not able to sign into iMessage on both macOS Mojave and Catalina . I tried signing out of iCloud , resetting nVRAM and PRAM , removing my Mac from the Apple ID as my signed in devices , removing Apple ID from my Mac and adding it back to see if works . I also did a clean install of Catalina but none of these seem to work . I had my iMessages activated on my iPhone ( updated with the latest software) . Does anyone know a fix? Thanks
