What is error 34608? Can't sign into icloud with my new apple ID.

When I try to sign into iCloud on my new phone I keep getting an error message that says I can't use my new Apple ID to sign into iCloud. Error message also has a number: 34608


I can't find anything about it online.

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.


Try a restart.


Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


Try a forced restart.


Reset Device


If necessary


Hard reset


Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.


Restore to Factory setting


Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup
