Black Screen of Death

My home button works. My phone is fully charged. Randomly goes black. I can press button but nothing shows up. No hard reset works. Turning it on and off doens't work. Charging it doesn't work. Plugging it in doesn't work. Just have to sit and wait it out. Does this happen to anyone else?

Phone will not turn on/unexpected shut down My phone was on and working 30 minutes ago., Then it would not show my lockscreen but was a black screen that still showed the time and notifications. All of a sudden, it stopped working. It has been charging for more than 15 minutes ago and I followed the steps online. I pressed the volume up then volume down and held the power button but nothing happened. What do I do?

I would suggest getting an appointment at an Apple Store for an evaluation. I have not had that problem.
