Apple Watch series 5 and pandora won’t connect to headphones

I just got the series 5 Apple Watch. I have Pandora premium and can’t get the watch to connect the service through the headphones in any way. I can control other Bluetooth devices and play pandora, but not listen to it through my headphones from watch. Any ideas? Yes I followed all steps on the Apple site. Super frustrating.

Pandora does not stream via the Apple Watch.


But I'm told paid Pandora accounts can transfer off-line playlists to the Apple Watch, which can then be played via the Apple Watch and Bluetooth headphones.
