Is there an easy way to check the creation date of a note in the Notes app?
I know you can apparently re-order the entire folder to view by creation date, but that isn't really an easy solution. And it doesn't seem to show the creation date anyway. Plus that option isn't available for a note found via search.
Anything like a simple CMD+I to show info about a note?

I see the problem. In both of the cases in the replies above you see the modified date, not the creation date.
But I just noticed if you simply click on the date on the top of the note it switches between modified and created date with each click. So problem solved.

What happens if you Sort notes by: Date Created in Notes Preferences? At the very top of every note content that I can see in the Notes application is its creation date stamp.
This is from Notes running on macOS Mojave 10.14.6 (18G1012).
Oh really? I do all the time. For example, with support logs, diet notes, tech notes when I find out something new - countless cases.

There are also dates at the top of notes in Catalina, 10.15.1.
I don't think I've ever modified a note, so I wouldn't notice any difference.
I'm sure people do change notes. I can't remember changing them, so that is why I thought the date at the top was created and not modified.
