Start a new Apple ID for 2nd iphone

Thanks and I will try that but I have only the one ID I think I am going to have to get another email address so I can have an ID for the other phone. JM

I have done that but still a message to the other phone comes straight to the sending phone. I am giving up for a while. Bye

When you made the new ID, did you change the ID signed into Messages/FaceTime?
