No, it isn't a funny statement. If you have equipment that can faithfully reproduce what was recorded you should not need equalization. What frequency bass do you think is missing? I demoed them and the bass was good and accurate given the price of them. As I said maybe they do not fit your ear properly or maybe you have lost an appreciable amount of low end hearing.

Almost a week i tested airpod pro with many different kind of music like eastern western and other kind of albums , background score , wave notation etc. I feel the device lagging incredible amount of deep low frequency.there is a bass its only superficial. “Good recorded music does not need a equalizer”that is a funny statement 😀-respectfully denies this statement 👍

Hello Apple friends,

The Apple Pros that arrived today were lacking bass because I thought it was a manufacturing defect but evidently other consumers are experiencing the same issue. My Apple 2's are so good with their audio quality, I can't justify a compromise in sound quality for the other features that the Pros offer. Thanks Apple but I am returning these for the airpods 2 that my family loves. My 4th pair in the last year. Big family! Thanks, Dennis Shea

I agree with you! I am spoiled by my Sony WH-1000XM3 (extra bass headphones) - the quality is sooooooo awesome.

Just purchased the Powerbeats pro yesterday, but it's without noise cancellation and quality bass!!! The treble is too high. So I've been looking at AirPod pro reviews to see if it has better bass. But this feedback is not good.

IT IS SO HARD TO FIND WORKOUT WIRELESS HEADPHONES WITH GOOD BASS!!!

I just want to give up. I'm returning my Powerbeats Pro, and using my Sony for working out until Apple releases something better in the next year or so. These headphones are too expensive to not give customers, esp as a musician myself, the ability to adjust treble, mid, and bass. I also need the hook since my ears are funny shaped and always spit out headphones without hooks. When are these techies going to give us more options. They're charging a million bucks for sub-standard features and not catering to people who may want more treble, or more bass, or more mid, or some hooks! Not everyone doesn't want hookless. Powerbeats pro is not a good hook option. Bass sucks.

And one other thing... so I could keep using my AirPods 2 with beautiful bass response compared to the AirPod Pro’s

with empty tone, the issue with the 2’s was that they kept falling out of my ears... they just don’t fit!

I borrowed my wife’s stretchy headband thing that was lying on the counter as a headband to hold AirPods in my ears...

That works great! Holds them in and Bass is better since they’re in tight and not falling out all the time!

I look like I’m wearing my wife’s headband, but the horses in the barn don’t say a word while I’m working... 👍

Workable Solution.
