Can someone help me understand the new find my app? All I want to do is use it to find my phone for my phone & my husband’s phone, help!

Here are some instructions-->Set up Find My on your iPhone, Mac, and other devices - Apple Support

If you and your husband are linked with Family Sharing both of your phones should show up under Devices in the FindMy app.

• Open the Find My app
• Tap on People
• Tap on "Share my location"
• Choose the person to share with from your contacts

Do this on both phones.

When you say that you set up sharing, do you mean sharing location, or Family Sharing? If just sharing location, that does not include Find My. If you do not wish to setup Family Sharing, you each can invite the other to use the Find My Friends portion of Find My. That is accessed by tapping on People.

Are you both sharing an Apple ID?

Go to Settings > (Your name) > Find My
