Dirty Magic Mouse Feet (Black Sliders)

I know different versions of this question has been asked, but has anyone found a solution that does not include taping those awful "Fliders" to the Magic Mouse feet?

My desk is immaculate--I already wipe down the entire wooden desk once a week (if not more).

My desk is a typical office desk made of dark wood.

I work with two Magic Mice and they both attract black scuff marks at the bottom.

I've attached photos of my Mice. Mind you, I just literally cleaned one of them but at the right lighting, you can see some dirt still on it (bottom part of the feet)...

Like others, I have to scrape the black dirt off with my nails.

Is there no solution in sight? Do we resort to using mousepads again? Isn't the point of these Mice so we DON'T have to use mousepads??
