Duplicate apps after App Store Update
Im on macOS catalina (10.15.1) and everytime I update an app like Xcode or Keynote it keeps duplicating and I have 2 icons for the same app

I understand from your post that when you install updates to an app like Xcode or Keynote you get duplicate apps and have two icons. You can delete the icons from your Dock by dragging the item out of the Dock until you see the word Remove. This article has additional information about removing Dock items you may find useful:
