How to delete an app that doesn’t have a tile but appears on my messages as an add on

Downloaded an app called ‘Random hat’ thinking it was a secret Santa app for names. The app never appeared as a tile but found it in my messages, even when I go to purchased items I only get option to hide the app but not delete. Please help as I think this is a spying app
