Apple Watch App download passcode

I am wondering why my Apple Watch is saying “Apple watch passcode required, a passcode is required to download and buy apps” when I try to download an app through the App Store on my watch??

How can I fix this issue?

No, I don’t have a passcode set on my watch.

Do you have a passcode setup on your watch?,if so then the app store is asking you to enter this passcode.I don't have a passcode on my watch and I don't get asked for a passcode when I'm in the app store.
