iPhone XR Model Number Differences between Turkey and the USA

Hello,

I am planning to buy an iPhone XR in the USA. But model number here in the US for iPhone XR is A1984. I will use my iPhone XR in my home country, Turkey. Model number in Turkey for iPhone XR is A2105. When I compared the cellular and wireless features for both iPhone XR models, I saw that they are exactly the same.

My question is that: "Can I use the iPhone XR I buy in the US without any problem in Turkey regarding the cellular and wireless features? Are there anything else that I should compare between these two model numbers? "

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I see you have a question about buying an iPhone and using in a different country, and I'd like to do what I can to help.

iPhones are made to be used in the country purchased in, and using in a different country may cause some issues.

If you get an alert from BTK in Turkey saying that your IMEI isn't registered

I'd highly recommend contacting your cellular carrier to determine if the iPhone you want to buy is compatible and able to be serviced in Turkey.

This article does show that for Turkey "The carrier, not Apple, provides technical support for iPhone in this region."
