iCloud storing songs as ineligible

I'm using Apple Music's latest version 1.0.1.37. Last week I had 2 tracks that I couldn't play on Apple Music on my Mac. Both tracks were listed as Ineligible and their location was listed as 'Cloud'. Originally, both of these tracks were burnt mp3's and originally located in my iTunes Media folder. I could neither play, re-download or delete these tracks. I contacted Apple Support who suggested 'Since you are unable to delete the song, I suggest you to try deleting and uploading the song using a different device.' I located the songs on my iPhone and managed to delete them. Having the original mp3s saved elsewhere I was able to re-add them to Apple Music and they synced back with iCloud. Yesterday I discovered I had another 16 additional songs listed as Ineligible, location=Cloud and no matter what device I access I cannot do anything with these songs e.g. cannot play, delete etc. All of these songs were previously mp3s on my iTunes Media Folder. and they have been removed (not by me!!). However, what's puzzling me the most is that all of the affected songs are ones that I streamed on my iPhone at various times during the week and now they're all removed from my Media Folder and listed as Ineligible and stuck in the Cloud. Anyone else come across this problem?

From Identify cloud status icons in your music library on your Mac or PC - Apple Support:

Ineligible

Apple Music might not be able to upload the song because the song wasn't purchased from the iTunes Store, was purchased using a different Apple ID, or is too large of a file.

Seems odd that a track that appears to have been successfully added to your library over a year ago has suddenly become ineligible, but short of deleting from the library and reimporting I don't believe there is anything else you can do. Try holding down option+cmd as you launch Music to make it run an integrity check on your local library, then use File > Library > Update Cloud Library to refresh that. Perhaps the status will update, or you will at least be able to remove the broken items.

To clarify some of my points above........the songs I currently have listed as ineligible were previously imported to my iTunes library over several years and were succesfully matched to the Cloud. Now every few days I'm seeing songs listed as ineligible and their location is 'Cloud'. These songs can't be played, re-downloaded or deleted and therefore cannot be re-added to my library. I have Apple Music and iTunes Match subscriptions (although from what I'm reading I should have cancelled my Match subscription when I joined Apple Music). Does anyone have any ideas how I remove these ineligible tracks that are stored in the Cloud? Examples of 4 of the latest problem tracks is below
