Not to happy with the PRESS COFFERENCE!

Simple answer, return it!

I have been satisfied with my IP4 but I have to say that I am very disappointed with the press conference. I would have liked to hear it in person but the dialog from Steve sounds a little condescending in print.

I went to Verizon for the Droid X. My proximity sensor issues are a thing of the past based on my last 24 hours of experience with the Droid X.

How can they do a hardware fix, the logistics and testing and FCC approval, re jigging machines, changing the components, sourcing new components, basically that's so much work it would be iPhone 5 time by then, if unhappy take it back, simple.

I like the bumper to be honest, but for me it doesn't fix the issue. I still get bars dropping to the point of the network lost pop up coming on. My iphone 3g didnt lose signal as readily whether I was holding it or not. My 4G loses signal rather too much, now that I have seen the proposal from SJ I think I will go to the o2 store tomorrow and compare signal strengths with mine and if there is a marked difference claim a replacement (if there are any available that is).

If not I will look for a refund. Although Apple are saying that they will refund within 30 days...I am not entirely sure how that will work with o2, who have a 14 day refund period (which is now past from 22nd June).

Glad they are doing something, but watch the world catch up that the bumpers dont resolve the issue........

There isn't going to be one, so you choose. Keep it and continue using it without a case (you better never drop it) and hope the next firmware update helps in this regard, make use of the free bumper provided or any other case of your choosing, or return it within 30 days of the purchase date for a full refund.

That's pretty much what Steve would like to say I'll bet, but can't because of the shareholders.

On O2 you are in contract but you can change phones if unhappy within the 30 day period I believe, after the 14 day cooling off period.

Return it. Nuff said. Bye.

although i have to call steve jobs out, in his press conference he said he got 5k emails saying his phone works fine. well they sold 3 million. 5,000 of 3,000,000 is not good.

Most people will never write/email/call to praise a product. People only do that to complain. I'm surprised he got 5000.

Mine works fine and I didn't e-mail Steve. I am sure that there are a lot of people like me that have no problems with the iphone 4 that never e-mail Steve.

I read someone on here saying . If Apple tells you to buy a bumper . That would mean they screwed up . Well , I wonder what he's thinking now ...
