I have been trying to set up subtitles on my FireTV but it doesn't seem to work. I go to Settings-->Accessibility-->Subtitles and Captioning-->Outline Text, but it doesn't seem to have any actual effect, as no subtitles are shown when I watch a show. Any thoughts?

That setting would only determine the style.
To select a specific subtitle by language, do this:
