I want to create accounts for other family members on my Apple TV 4K. When switching to a new user it wants an email address. Is the email address your Apple ID? My kids don't have email addresses.

Unfortunately you would need to complete this task on an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Macintosh. You cannot complete this task from a web browser or directly from the Apple TV.
Can I do that on the web or directly on the Apple TV device? I don't own anything else Apple.
That also looks like it is for sharing iTunes purchases. I want to switch users on the Apple TV so that recommended shows and watching in the TV app are different for each user.
