The option to pinch a preview of a print page and to the save to PDF has disappeared. Force pressing on the first page of the preview also does not work. How come this most useful feature has disappeared in iOS 13?
I find when trying this - which alway sussed to work that after I swipe apart with two fingers it drops back to the same screen and does not drop into the PDF view as it used to do before. the option faculty that you mention below does work.
I find this is the best way and I can then file it away in a folder. I find when listing a big folder in Files if you start scrolling rom A to Z it keeps dropping you back to the A files list until it has got the whole folder in memory then you can scroll normally. I must have missed the memo about the option facility! Thanks

The feature you describe remains present in iPadOS/iOS13. Remember, you must reverse-pinch (i.e., spread two fingers) on the preview thumbnail to expose the full print preview screen - from which you can use the share icon.
If you have difficulty, use the native Shortcuts App to add the “Make PDF” shortcut to the share sheet; you’ll find the shortcut, by name, in the Gallery.

Upon reflection, there’s perhaps a better way for you to create a PDF, using new capabilities of iPadOS, for any document...
Simply tap the Share icon; at the very top of the Share option sheet, you’ll see a summary description of the page/document with an “Options” link. Tap this link, select PDF from the list, then select “Back” to return to the Share option sheet. Finally select Save to Files and choose the path/location for the PDF.
This may both sound and initially feel cumbersome, but actually provides significant flexibility in creating and storing output.
