Address Book, not saving changes to an entry/record

Hello,

I have just noticed that, Address Book will not allow me to save changes to a record entry there. I will open up the entry, make changes to the note field, save, and watch the changes I made disappear in front of my eyes. I cannot make changes to this record. This is happening to numerous other records as now I reflect back on the data I knew I entered and selected save, but didn't think to check as I trusted this to work.

Any helpful ideas, always appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem. Thought it might be due to syncing with Entourage...but after turning the sync off in both Entourage and Address Book preferences, Address Book still doesn't save changes. I also see the changes disappear before my eyes!

Anyone out there have an answer? I know we're not the only ones since there are numerous comments about this issue all across the web!

I wanted to reply and confirm that I have been experiencing the exact same issue for the last 4-6 weeks. Changes to existing entries or new entries that are added to the "On My Mac" Address Book Group are simply disappearing after I close the Address Book and re-open.

I'm also not performing any sync between my Mac Address Book and any other application like Entourage.
